Fathima Coffee Works & FACO™
Fathima Coffee Works is the original coffee shop in Kodaikanal, started in 1963 by Mr. Abdul Wahab. FACO™ is the coffee brand introduced in 2023, carrying the same coffee from the same shop into packs you can take home.

Fathima Coffee Works opens
Mr. Abdul Wahab starts a coffee shop in Kodaikanal, roasting and grinding coffee for the town.

A shop the town relied on
Locals came for their weekly coffee powder; visitors found the shop by its aroma.

The family continues
The shop passes to the next generation of the family, keeping the same way of working.

Written about in the press
Dinamalar (Dindigul edition) features the shop and its roasting in a story on Kodaikanal coffee.

FACO™ is introduced
The same coffee is packed under the FACO™ name so it can travel beyond Kodaikanal.

Same street, same method
Coffee, tea and homemade chocolates are sold at the shop and sent to customers who order on WhatsApp.
